Justine Blainey Case (VC 2180)
Presents the true story of Justine Blainey. She is a talented hockey player who
was not allowed to play on a boys' all star team because of a rule within the
Ontario Hockey Association and the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association. The Canadian
Charter of Rights provided the legal ground on which to present an argument against this
type of discrimination. She fought the rule through the courts - and won.
